I have thoroughly enjoyed this book. Even back in the 50s and 60s we didn’t get the American history. I would’ve liked to have. Another appealing feature is the briefness of each chapter and yet the surprising details I’ve learned with every page. I would definitely recommend this book..

It's really good. I like how it is kept short, but comprehensive. But I think a few Presidents were given the cop-out write up. John Tyler, for instance. I felt he was rather smugly dismissed here. But read his write up in Brion McClanahan's book "9 Presidents Who Screwed Up America: And Four Who Tried to Save Her." It gives a whole new perspective on who he really was and what he did.
But all in all, this is a fair and balanced work. Well done!
I have not had much time to read yet, but it seems to have good content. I have always wanted a concise collection of our presidents, and I now have one. Will be reading while on vacation!
I am loving learning all over again about the presidencies of these men and how they shaped our nation. I am enjoying the succinct summaries especially and should I need or want to know more, I can look elsewhere. Most of the synopses are enough, however.
Excellent book; finished it this afternoon. Feeling inspired now to read some full-length presidential biographies.
I personally haven't read any of the book, but was disappointed when my 16 year old said to me this book was bias because it only said bad things about Biden and good things about Trump. Perhaps my perspective will be different when I read it.

I was thinking it would say more about the Presidents. I was disappointed that there is only about 3 pages on each President.
Starting with Geo. Washington, now at James garfield, find the writing concise, seemingly HONEST, and interesting. Purchased several copies initially to give to family members, and believe it will be well received by all.

I like that I get more unknown information on each president that I was never taught.
It is interesting to learn that not all our presidents were conjoined political copycats. Each had their own agendas in an effort to solve issues. This good book is a simple overview that will help anybody develop a basic understanding of a frection of our wonderful nation's history.
I had read several of the chapters before loaning it to a friend who is a history buff. I knew he would enjoy it and accepted the possibility that because he has Alzheimer’s. he might forget to return it. I now have that spot in my bookcase refilled. This is a book I will enjoy over and over again.
