Otto's Tales: Today is Father's Day

I got this as a gift for a friend who recently became a dad, and I’m so glad I did. It makes a great gift for any dad to read to his kids. The story follows the young boy Dennis and his dog Otto as they meet different dads, including Abraham from the Bible. Along the way they learn about what it means to be a dad, especially the sacrifice involved. Reading this with your kids would definitely be a great way to spend time with your kids and celebrate what it means to be a father!

Our family can’t wait to watch this Otto’s Tales episode and read the book with dad this weekend! I read it ahead of wrapping and the story of Dennis and his father is so uplifting and heartwarming. I highly recommend this series to all families looking for wholesome children’s books and shows.

This book was a great read for any grade. I thought that it had a very nice storyline on Father's Day that could teach any age.

Appreciating our fathers with a little bit of history makes my child love his dad just a little bit more. For this book to explain the wonders of men from the past and present helps visualize the wonders of everyday fathers! Recommend this book and all the helpful lessons in it!

Highly recommend this book! It is a sweet, wholesome, and FUN way to teach kids about the importance of dads and the gift that fatherhood really is. Encourages an appreciation for family. Love the point about the importance of fathers teaching their kids about the ways of God. The illustration is beautiful, too!

What a wholesome children's book. I just finished reading it to my son. He's a bit younger than the target age but that just means we get to enjoy it for years ahead. Great life lessons woven throughout an entertaining story. The artwork is fantastic and kept my son engaged the entire time. This will be one we read again and again - not just Father's Day.

Finally a book that promotes healthy family values! I love how Otto and Dennis go back in time to see great fathers that came before them. It is so important to look to good examples as we press into the future! Giving this book to my nephews!
