Around The World: Andre Loves His Homeland — France

Take your tweens on a journey to France to meet Andre, a boy growing up in the ethnically diverse suburbs of Paris. In an immigrant neighborhood often filled with turbulence and unrest, Andre learns how multiculturalism can lead to chaos and violence, while assimilation and patriotism foster cooperation and peace.

Created for middle and high school students, PragerU’s Around the World books explore complex topics such as communism, energy needs, and freedom of speech in an age-appropriate manner, and gives children 6th grade and up, a new appreciation for what makes America so unique.
