September 11, 2001 was a tragic moment in our nation’s history, but one that future generations must learn about. This PragerU Kids' storybook will teach your children about the historic attack on America in an age-appropriate manner and how we united as a nation in the face of adversity. Young children will travel with Otto the bulldog and his best friend Dennis to learn that through tragedy, Americans displayed great heroism, strength, and unity.

Based on the beloved storytime show watched by millions of American families, the Otto's Tales storybook series takes K-2nd grade learners on exciting adventures with young Dennis Prager and his sidekick Otto the bulldog, as they travel through time and learn important values through American holidays and traditions. This patriotic series answers the needs of young families looking for fun, educational, pro-America content. Visit PragerUkids.com to watch the Otto’s Tales show!

Important read

Excellent read for children to understand the acts of terrorism that were perpetrated on our country. We read this many times in the home and again at the "Tunnels to Towers" event. My kids we able to understand how amazing our community is and how wonderful our country is. God Bless America and the families who lost and sacrificed so much for this nation. We appreciate you. Thank you for your heroism.

VERY WELL done!

Prager University does everything well and this September 11th book is no exception!! Succinct and clear the message is not inflammatory, but simple. On this date a terrible tragedy occurred. Absolutely age appropriate for my 4 and 5 year olds. There was no fear - just explaining the events. This is a very difficult topic to share with young children but I feel strongly that my class should be aware of these significant events like this. I trust Prager University to provide information I can trust.

Prager strikes again

Great book for teaching 8 years and above. I did read it to my 4 year old grandson but I substituted words and phrases. He got the point well.

Love PragerU

I so appreciate Prager U and everything they're doing to help kids learn correct history and correct principles. This book was great for my kids. It taught about 9/11 in a very sensitive but serious manner, while still being entertaining for kids due to the introduction of a fun character. My husband read the very end, where it contains additional details about 9/11, and he broke down crying, which then led the rest of us to cry tears of sorrow and admiration for those that lost their lives that day. Truly an inspiring and educational book worthy of any home or community library.

Excellent for an understanding

Excellent for an understanding of September 11 for children. This is part of a series with Dennis and his dog. They are wonderful and do a great job explaining whatever date, or subject, the book is about. The latest is on Veterans Day. It is also excellent.

PragerU makes great children’s books!

Authentic view on the horrible events of 9/11 made just for children. Doesn’t sugarcoat what happened at all, including who masterminded the plot. Great work PragerU!

Great education of true American history - unbiased

PragerU represents the true American value - the one we came here for. We buy all PragerU books for the kids to grow up to love their country, not hate their country. It's totally fine to note all the imperfectness of America, but it is still the best country on this earth. Go elsewhere if you hate it. Try living in a totalitarian country and be completely deprived of freedom of speech and religion.

Respectful, tactful, clever

I was initially skeptical that this topic could or should be covered in a children's book, especially in an effective manner, but PragerU managed to pull it off. This book deals with a potentially sensitive topic (which is generally going to be significantly more touchy for the parents reading it than for the kids listening) in a manner that manages to be not only respectful, but tactful, informative (sufficient for a young child), clever, and pleasant to look at. It doesn't (and can't) let your child experience what it was like to be alive on 9/11, but neither can any experience or piece of media—any more than I can ever know what it was like to live through the JFK assassination, the moon landing, or either world war. It does impart the important take-aways, though. My 4-year-old loved seeing the pictures and hearing the story, and it's made this book a valuable part of her collection.

Great for kids

Written at a kids level, focusing on facts and events rather than the actual horrors and feelings. Won't traumatize while educating and opens the discussion door about the subjects of 9/11 and terrorism and current events.

Retelling a story of heros

In a time when public school teachers are being told to use the anniversary of September 11 as an opportunity to teach about racism (as if that were under-taught), this book actually retells the story of heroism during and after the attacks.

Great way to explain to kiddo 9/11.

My child was not born when this tragic moment happened so having a story to read helped him understand why it broke so many hearts in America.
