This rhyming book did a great job explaining to kids what Veterans Day is all about. It e plains most of the branches of service. It’s told by a kid with white hair and a dog which was strange.

Great book for kids and heck... I've even learned something.
I started purchasing the Otto and Denis adventure stories for my great nephews and great nieces (ages 18 months to 13 years) to teach them about historical events that may or may not be being taught in their schools. So far I've purchased and gifted the Pledge and American flag, 9/11, Veterans Day, and Thanksgiving books. I just purchased the Christmas book, but have not yet received it. My nieces have commented that my great nephews and nieces are thoroughly enjoying the books and are looking forward to receiving their next books. I've read the books myself before mailing them to my great nephews and nieces and have have found them to provide a good basic history of all the events depicted in a fun and interesting manner.

Great book for teaching 8 years and above. I did read it to my 4 year old grandson but I substituted words and phrases. He got the point well.

I heard an advertisement from Dennis Prager about his Childrens book celebrating our wonderful American Veterans. I ordered for my niece as a surprise. When the box was delivered, with a gift note inside, she couldn’t wait to read about Otto. Dennis Prager is a respected mind, writer, lecturer, this children’s book did not disappoint. I will buy more of his work.

This book is very good at breaking down most of the branches of service. It left off a couple that do multi roles though they do include them at the end of the book. My daughter really enjoys the book.
